Club Vice Chairman
30 Years+
We are seeking an experienced manager of people with some professional experience in overseeing a team of staff and/or clients, with a good standard of written and spoken communication in English.
The ideal Vice Chairman for RBFC will be passionate about providing positive experiences in football for young people in the community, though an in-depth knowledge on football is not required.
The candidate must be able to remain objective and professional at all times and and be confident in speaking in front of others, including chairing meeting and interviews.
The Vice Chairman will co-host all club meetings (AGMS) and be responsible for overseeing the management of the club by all staff, the appointment of new staff volunteers, the development of the club, and assisting the chairman to decide upon matters throughout.
Club Welfare Officer
25 Years+
We are seeking someone who is able to place FA and Club policy and child protection regulations and procedures first above all else. The ideal candidate will be organised, personable and calm, whilst remaining professional at all times.
The Club Welfare Officer will be the first point of call for any complaints, concerns, queries and suggestions from members and staff. They will also run initiatives and share ideas with members about how to better welfare in the club through things such as club questionnaires, votes, posters, welfare events and other creative things that bring the club community together to promote well being and enjoyability. Full FA qualification and training will be provided.
Club Development Officer
18 years+
We are seeking a creative person with forward thinking and vision, preferably with skills and/or experience in planning projects (this does not need to be in the context of football or sports), to work together with the board to review, develop and execute steps towards the club's short and long-term club development plan. In-house training provided.
Assistant Welfare Officer
21 years+
We seek someone who is passionate about working with children and adults in the community and protecting the positivity of their experience at RBFC, to support our club welfare officer with their duties as the club expands.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working in either a setting with children or a professional setting with adults. The candidate must have strong communication skills and be approachable, whilst being able to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Full FA training and qualification will be provided.
Club Referee
14 years+
We seeking people with a passion for football and working with young people, who are keen to learn new skills, or who already have experience refereeing, playing or coaching football.
The candidates with be required to complete qualification in refereeing, administered by the FA and must be available on Sundays to referee club games during the football season (August - end of May).
Team Manager
18 years+
We are seeking qualified and/or experienced coaches who have a good working knowledge of the rules of youth football and the ability to communicate effectively and calmly with young people, to create a safe training and development environment.
The ideal candidate will already have some experience in coaching or coaching assistance. Candidate must have their own road worthy car, drivers' licence, and be available for team training and matches on a weekly basis throughout the grassroots football season between August and May.
Full FA training, qualification and mentorship will be provided.
Coaching Support Officer
18 years+
We are seeking confident communicators who are passionate about working with young people and have a working knowledge of football, to support a manager or match day supervisor to manage league games.
Full training and qualification will be provided by the club through the FA programmes, and development opportunities for managerial and coaching positions are available through our coaches' development programme.
Candidate must have a full UK driving license, a road worthy car, and be available Sunday mornings during the football season (August-end of May).
Match Day Supervisors
18 years+
We are seeking confident communicators who are passionate about working with young people and have a working knowledge of football, to supervise games for a team at league and cup matches and tournaments.
Full training and qualification will be provided by the club through the FA programmes, and development opportunities for managerial and coaching positions are available through our coaches' development programme.
Candidate must have a full UK driving license, a road worthy car, and be available of Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings during the football season (August-end of May).
Advertising Coordinator
16 years+
We are seeking someone who is great with social media, to lead our club advertising. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bettering the lives of young people and for working as part of a team, to create and post eye-catching content that keeps the club relevant and celebrated across digital platforms. No experience is necessary, however a confident knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok and YouTube is necessary.
